Donation Requests–Aug 19th, 2016

Hi everyone, thank you so much for your continued support of our programs! For all the sci-fi fans out there, this week we have a lot of sci-fi and fantasy requests so please check your bookshelves/your favourite local bookstores for us. Books can be dropped off to Venus Envy (1598 Barrington St.) or The Loaded Ladle (6136 University Ave, Room B24). We also can always use blank journals, if they aren’t coil-bound.

Read Aloud Program Requests

Did you know that alongside our bi-weekly library program, we also facilitate a Read Aloud Program in which we record folks inside reading children’s books, and then send the books and recordings to their children on the outside? It is a very popular program these days and we could use some help in keeping our book selection plentiful. We are looking for donations of new and/or invisibly-used kids books OR gift-cards for children’s books.

Some popular requests are Dr. Seuss books, nursery rhyme books, truck & tractor books, and other kids classics. If you have any of these types of books to donate, it would be so greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at Venus Envy (1598 Barrington St.) or The Loaded Ladle (6136 University Ave, Room B24).
