Books Beyond Bars has received a request to write letters of support for Clarence “Chico” Stevens, who is incarcerated in a medium security federal prison in British Columbia and is at high risk for contracting COVID-19. His friend Sherry Edmunds-Flett is asking for letters of support for the release of Chico Stevens so that he can live with her on day parole and get the support he needs.
Letters of support will help show the CSC and the Parole Board of Canada that there is community support which would go a long way.
