Request for letters of support for Chico Stevens

Books Beyond Bars has received a request to write letters of support for Clarence “Chico” Stevens, who is incarcerated in a medium security federal prison in British Columbia and is at high risk for contracting COVID-19. His friend Sherry Edmunds-Flett is asking for letters of support for the release of Chico Stevens so that he can live with her on day parole and get the support he needs.

Letters of support will help show the CSC and the Parole Board of Canada that there is community support which would go a long way.

Please read the details below and write a letter if you can.

  1. Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I think there’s no address attached to the Amazon wishlist? when I tried to buy a book for you, it said it would deliver to MY address because there was no address associated with the wishlist.
